In this video I answer a homeowner who asked for advice on how to protect the exposed concrete foundation on their new home.
I suggest one of two home maintenance options:
- Treat the outside of the concrete foundation with soak in invisible water repellent
- Apply exterior grade latex paint
It is very important to protect exposed concrete foundation. I water ever soaks in and freezes, it can expand and cause premature flaking and deterioration of the foundation.
