The video below is from a 2012 installation job where I had the chance to put Novitherm heat reflectors into an older home with cast iron radiators for heat. Checking on the reflector company today I see that it’s still in business helping people reduce heating costs. If your home was built before 1980 and is heated with radiators or hot water convectors, then there’s a good chance you have inadequately insulated walls causing excess heat loss. The reflectors that you can see below cut heating costs by about 10%. In this video I show how to cut and install them.
