Well good morning Phil. This is that stone I was telling you about. Actually this is the layout
0:08
It's full-size layout. It's Times New Roman font. I know you'd have to reproduce this on your software
0:16
but I just I just did this to kind of show you what I was hoping to do
0:21
Paper is the same size as the stone. And this is the limestone I was telling you about
0:27
I know this limestone pretty well. It's quite, this is a sawn edge, you can see it's quite solid
0:33
The only defects, if that's what you want to call them, are these fossils you see every so often
0:39
I've seen these fossils weather for many decades in exposed stone and they don't seem to weather any faster than the stone
0:47
So the only problem is where a letter might land on a fossil
0:53
I mean you see two here. I don't know where there's others we might run into
0:57
I'm not too concerned about that though. It is a dog's gravestone so it's not some polished granite thing
1:04
that's going to be sitting in a real cemetery. But do you think it's going to work okay
1:10
This is a bush hammered surface. It's nice and flat. And I have seen incised carving done on this kind of stone before and it works quite well
1:19
Seems to last well too. I've seen it weathered for decades with no real change
1:24
So that's what we've got. My plan is to put this in the ground, kind of flush with the ground
1:29
So this is just one of those flat to the ground stones. Anyway, do you think it's going to work? Just let me know. Thanks Phil and bye bye
