Hi, I'm Steve Maxwell, and I want to introduce you to a Canadian wood treatment product. It creates an even

weathered gray color on wood. It's very easy to use. It's non-toxic

You only need to apply it once and it even helps wood to last longer

So let me take you on a tour of a project that we're using this product on right now

It's called Eco Wood Treatment, and it comes in the powder like you see here. This bag

mixes up with 22 liters of water. Then you apply it either by brush or my preference is by a backpack sprayer

If you're just doing a small project a regular pump up weed sprayer works really well, too

Application is super easy. You just use the sprayer to drench the surface

There's no need to worry about brush marks or runs because you're just soaking the surface of the wood. The product works by chemical reaction with the wood

It doesn't seem to be doing anything right away, but in about 15 or 20 minutes

the wood will start to get that great weathered gray color. Nice and even and

that'll progress over the course of a few hours at first and

it'll take a couple of months for the wood to get its full great patina

The main thing is that you apply complete coverage. You don't want to miss any areas because those won't change color

If by chance you do though, it's easy to see them and you can go over again and add some more liquid

You don't have to worry about any over spray that accidentally gets on windows or aluminum soffit in the fascia

It's non-staining. It doesn't leave any sticky residue and it wipes off very easily with a rag

Eco wood treatment can be applied to any bare wood surface. It creates an even gray look that's way better than regular natural weather in which cases

It's fast, simple, non-toxic and very easy to apply
