Where can I find the Bulldog Grip polyurethane caulking you’ve recommended many times? We’ve got full southerly exposure at the back of our house, and any caulking I’ve used on the windows and doors just bubbles and fails quickly. No store I visit carries Bulldog Grip caulking.

LePage changed the name of my favourite polyurethane caulking, and now it’s called LePage PL Polyurethane caulking. There are different versions for doors and windows, as well as masonry and other applications. Despite the name change, it’s the same stuff I know and love. The difference is colour options. My only complaint about the revised line is that LePage dropped the brown version. That’s too bad because brown is such a useful colour in exterior caulking. I buy my PL Polyurethane at Home Hardware, though my local dealer does have to order it in special. At more than $8/tube it’s not cheap, but performance is outstanding. The product lasts seemingly forever, it remains fully flexible, and it takes paint perfectly. I’ve used other premium caulking products, but nothing is as good.
