You definitely don’t want to shoot yourself in the finger with an air nailer, and that’s why you need to watch the video above. I use some kind of air nailer often, and the particular safety precaution you’ll see here has saved me from getting various kinds of nails driven through my fingers over the years. Air nailers make it easier to create great furniture and woodwork, but there’s a hidden danger in using them. The danger extends surprisingly far beyond where your fingers sit as you hold the wood and nail gun.
