I’m a big fan of keeping older vehicles going for the long haul, and tender loving care can go a long way in this regard. My F-150 pickup truck, for instance, is a 1990 model, and our family van is a 2004 Toyota Sienna. Watch the video below showing how I buff out an ugly scratch on the Sienna using a woodworking sander (yes, a sander!), a foam buffing pad and some autobody rubbing compound. This technique doesn’t work all the time, but it is surprising how often it does work perfectly.
I hope this video helps you keep your vehicle looking better. Please consider helping me cover the cost of producing and publishing content like this. Click the “buy me a coffee” button below and it’s safe, fast and easy to make a contribution. Thanks very much to everyone helping out.
