Back in 2012, my oldest son, Robert, made friends online with a young lady from Warsaw, Poland named Edyta. Two years later they were married and ready to move into a cabin Robert had begun building on our family homestead back in 2008. I wondered how all this might work out, given the big cultural change as Edyta moved thousands of miles from her family, from a major European city to the middle of nowhere. The video below tells the story from Edyta’s point of view, and a tour of the “enhanced cabin” they’ve created together.
