Jointers are woodworking machines designed to make pieces of wood straighter, truer and more refined. Some versions of jointers are made to sit on the floor, and others are smaller, less expensive (even less than $300) and made to sit on a bench. Either way, the process of using a jointer is the same. If you’re interested in boosting the quality of woodworking, a jointer can make a huge difference. The video below is shot in my workshop and is my tutorial about how to use a jointer properly.
