VEHICLE WORK: Trick For Drilling Holes Under a Vehicle

  • Video Watch Time = 3 1/2 minutes

If you’ve ever had to drill into a vehicle frame or other heavy steel with a hand-held drill, you’ll want to see this trick in action. This might be because you’re adding a trailer hitch or some other accessory, or as in my case replacing a non-structural underside part of the vehicle that needs to be replaced because of rust.

The video above shows how I used  simple car jack to take all the work and strain out of a serious drilling job. In fact, I don’t think I could have succeeded on this job without this little trick. This video is one of many that are part of my online course, MIG WELDING FOR BEGINNERS. I hope you enjoy the video and get something useful from it.

Here’s what they’re saying about the course. . .

“I really enjoyed Steve’s MIG welding course.  The pace was just right and the level of detail was good as well. I hope there’ll be similar classes in the future. Maybe something on advanced welding? Overall, very pleased and appreciate your time and quick responses to my questions.”

“I truly enjoyed being part of your MIG WELDING FOR BEGINNERS course. The information you provide via written and videos material is very well put together and easy to follow. I was a beginner,  never having even owned equipment nor additional tools. I will keep my eye out for any additional courses you have on these topics.”
