MITER SAW VIDEO TOUR: Learn the Basics of This Great Tool

If I had to recommend one power saw for use around the home, cottage or country property, a miter saw would be it for most people. Also called a chopsaw, this type of power tool was first invented by the Delta company back in 1969. Strange that it took almost 20 years to catch on in a big way. These days few woodworkers would forgo the benefits of a miter saw.

Click above for an 8 minute video tour of how miter saws work, why they’re great, and what kind of cuts you can expect from them.

This video is one of 65 videos that are part of my online course FINISHING A BASEMENT THE RIGHT WAY.  Everything you need to know to have your basement finished right (and avoid common and big mistakes), plus one-on-one coaching from me.

Testimonial: One of the best things I did is sign up for Mr. Maxwell’s basement reno course. Not only is the course itself a super learning experience but the offered bonus is one of the best parts. You get some access to the man himself for virtual site visits via video call. In addition to parlaying his knowledge so readily and so well, Steve is also a real nice guy to deal with. His easy, friendly style is another nice part of the bonus. – Jake Cole, Kanata, Ontario
