HOW BRICKS ARE MADE: Video Tour of North America’s Largest Clay Brick Plant

Back in 2018 I went on a guided tour of the Brampton Brick manufacturing facility in Ontario Canada. This is the largest clay brick plant in all of North America and they produce about 800,000 bricks per day there with only 7 operators on staff at any given time. That’s more than 200 million bricks a year or about 5 million bricks per person per year when counting all employees, including office staff. Click below to watch a detail technical tour of the plant from the inside. I think you’ll be surprised. I really enjoyed the visit.
