Water jet cutting is a computer-controlled process that can create crisp, intricate cuts in metal of all kinds. A few years ago I had some parts cut out of mild steel at a shop that specializes in water jet cutting, and they sure look great. You’ll find shops specializing in water jet cutting in many places. Any shapes and designs that can be created on computer can be turned into metal with this process. The results are much more precise than the more common laser cutting.
